Revised for 2018, this 2-day technical course addresses signal integrity and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) in RF and high-speed digital circuits. It provides a strong foundation for designing high-performance circuits with fewer design iterations and improved prospects of passing conformance tests thereby reducing both development times and costs. In addition to signal integrity, noise, crosstalk, electromagnetic interference (EMI) and EMC concepts within RF, digital and mixed-signal circuits, the course provides a thorough overview of modern printed circuit board (PCB) design principles and layout practice including useful design rules and checklists to aid development reviews. The course is presented by an expert with over 30 years of experience in the RF and microwave industry. Throughout the course, there will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions and discuss your RF and high-speed digital PCB design challenges with the course instructor.

This technical course is aimed at those working with RF and wireless circuits, high-speed digital logic and mixed-signal circuits. Typically, participants would include RF design engineers, wireless design engineers, RF applications engineers, digital design engineers, hardware design engineers, hardware applications engineers, PCB layout engineers and technical managers who wish to improve their understanding of signal integrity in order to better manage the design process.
This is a technical course and the ability to assimilate and understand technical concepts is essential. A technical background is desirable in order to derive maximum benefit from the course. Participants would normally be qualified to degree level or have equivalent experience in an engineering, physics or mathematics-related subject.
