Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) is a group of internationally accepted open standards for digital television. Our Digital TV and Broadcasting curriculum offers a range of technical courses to address both current and emerging DVB coding and modulation standards. Additional courses focus on the practical aspects of developing modern DVB systems, including hybrid TV receiver design and measurement techniques for characterising DVB system performance.

 

The Introduction to Digital TV Modulation and Coding course (DVB1) provides an ideal foundation for individuals new to the DVB field. Follow-on courses include DVB-T Transmission and Reception (DVB2), ATSC Modulation for Digital Terrestrial TV (DVB3), DVB-T2 for High-Definition TV (DVB7) and DVB-H for Mobile TV (DVB6). The Hybrid TV Front-End Receiver Design (DVB5) and Practical DVB-T Measurements (DVB4) courses will be of particular interest to individuals involved in the practical design and development of DVB systems. All courses are delivered by highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors, each with over 30 years of experience designing and developing analogue and digital television and broadcasting systems for major global companies.

Courses can be delivered as customised instructor-led courses, either directly at your facility or at any other suitable venue throughout the UK, Europe and Rest of the World.
